A happy customer enjoying playtime!

At Mickleton kennels
we know your dog isn't really interested in potted plants and pictures on the
walls what they love is to get out and about in the fields, find plenty of interesting
new sniffs or just watch what's going on. For this reason we believe in plenty
of exercise and play times here – even
the oldest guests like to get out for a leisurely amble to stretch their legs
and sniff the country air in our fenced paddocks.
All dogs are walked twice each day, some on their own and others who are sociable in compatible groups. We welcome your advice regarding your dogs behaviour with others and rest assured newcomers are always well supervised on lead until we are sure they will integrate in a friendly manner with the others. Shy or timid dogs will be found a similarly quiet friend while lively, playful young dogs will be encouraged to play together. Anti social males or family packs are always exercised separately too.
Because
dogs will be dogs and never think of keeping their paws clean while having fun,
you may want to book an After Holiday Bath when for a small extra charge your
dog can be clean and sweet smelling for your return – please ask about this at
reception when you arrive.
