Situated in the Cheshire countryside but only 3 miles from Chester and 4 miles from Ellesmere Port and Helsby. Only 5 minutes from M53 Junction 12 and M56 junction 15.
Mickleton Kennels & Cattery was established in 1987 by Sandy Payne. The kennels have grown in size and popularity over the years.
Son, Jody, grew up helping in the kennels during the holidays and on weekends. After finishing university and working in the United States, he returned in March 2005 to run the kennels full-time in partnership with his American wife, Rebecca.
They now have two children of their own in local schools. Since taking over, they have made many improvements to the kennels and cattery and gained a wealth of experience in running the business, allowing it to be poised to thrive well into the future.
Our goal is to ensure your pets have fun and enjoy their time with us so dogs get plenty of exercise on the twice daily walks in our farm side paddocks and cats can laze in their own sunny terraces overlooking the Cheshire countryside.
Both cats and dogs receive plenty of hands-on attention and TLC because at Mickleton Kennels, we are small and friendly with time to care.
